Crux Expeditions grew out of years spent leading journeys across the world. We’ve traversed jungles in Borneo, glaciers in the Alps, rural communities in Zambia, and snow-covered trails in Arctic Sweden. Along the way, we learned what worked, what didn’t, and what made expeditions truly life-changing.

Too often, we found that adventure companies treated expeditions as products: book a spot, follow the itinerary, get the summit photo. What was missing was the human side of expedition travel: the friendships, the team dynamics, and the life skills that make the experience so much more than just a trip.
